Just in: DDR 4th Mix Plus

The student center game room now has both Extreme and 4th Mix Plus. Oh my god, I must be the happiest person in the world. If only the GGXX machine would cooperate with me, I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven.

Sitting in the library now with the shirt from my Riku costume. ^_^ <3 It's really nice and warm outside, almost makes me wish I'd worn my Luffy costume. I think my dream last night had something to do with me being Luffy stuck in the Disgaea universe, but I can't quite remember. ¬_¬

Oh, and plans for Saturday: dim sum, Sasuga stop, if we're not massively hung over or anything. @_@ Anyone wanna come along or have any other ideas?

Charm is here! She arrived without hitch last night (though a little bit late), but that's okay. ^_^;; We went home, watched some Simpsons, watched "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," and spent a lot of time playing Guilty Gear. (Like...4 or 5 hours...) Charm's a pretty good button smasher, especially when it comes to Ky. ^^;; I fear the day she really learns his moves. ^^;;

Oh, a Happy Halloween! to everyone. Skuld doesn't have anything better to do, so she's wearing her (Kingdom Hearts!)Riku shirt to school today. ^_^;; I hope I don't get cold. ;_; I'll be very sad if I end up being chilly sitting in the library for three hours. Speaking of which, Anime Club tonight. Costume contest and AMVs and other fun shit. Come see Skuld dressed as your favorite One Pirate King Wannabe, Monkey D. Luffy. XD

Oh, and Rah's coming over tonight. I hope she doesn't forget to call me, otherwise come 10pm I'm going to have to go over and knock on her door. And I don't know her last name, so I'm just going to be asking for a Sarah from Dartmouth. ¬_¬ Drinking tonight! Someone bring some alcohol and join us! Please. ;_;

hahahaha. I have evolved to a new stage in my apathy. Now Dubya just serves as an excellent source of entertainment. I swear to god they're even making fun of him in this article by hyphenating exploi-ta-tion (did he try to say that word and fail? ;_;). It's just great, the world is cracking me up today...

Which reminds me that for Big Hentai Mike and Ray, I have something very scary and very amusing to tell you all when I get home.

Picking up Charm at 6pm today. w000000t. Beware the beginning of the randomest weekend on earth. (Almost makes me with Crystal was here too. ^_^)

So the inspiration for my novel hasn't been coming along. It's been coming rather badly actually, and here I am, a little over three hours before my writing class where the two chapters of my novel are due...and I haven't finished either chapter yet. I know what happens, I know what I want to write. But were's the inspiration? It's just not coming. *runs around frantically* Eeeeeep! O_o;; My muse only comes and calls on me after midnight, but I was so sleepy last night I couldn't turn out anything coherent, so I punted it until today! Now I'm fucked!

Someone find my muse!

Not much has happened today. Got 5 hours of sleep, took a Japanese test, got pretty far in Cartoon Heroes, went to an MIT-Harvard Japanese function/mixer of sorts. Got fed pizza, but now I'm hungry again. Had some very interesting conversations with the reseachers from Japan.

Spent nearly two hours talking with Roni on the phone. ^_^ Hee hee hee. The high point of my otherwise rather dull day. Now I'm going to wander off in search of ramen.

Oh my god. @_@ Check out Cocoa's new LJ icon. Shit. XD *cheers* Yeah, that's right. I feel like I'm back on an X kick now. XD *evil laughter* But no, I have novel to write. *goes to find her muse*

I just saw episode 26 of Get Backers, the infamous onsen episode. It's pretty cool, actually. *laughs* There's the BLATANT JuubeixKazuki in there (about it seeming that they're on a love-love honeymoon), Juubei's awesome Japanese puns (Doitsu wa doitsu da? [Which one's Germany?] and Kuruma ga kurumatta! [The car's wrapped up!] For some reason, I found these absolutely hilarious. I think it's the novelty of Koyasu Takehito uttering utterly [hahahaha!] shameless puns), and the kick-ass, flaming (literally) ping-pong scene. Oh yeah. XD Get Backers = yaoi. Yum! ^_^

Now time for me to do some work. ¬_¬

I am filled with the craziest dreams. @_@ Some of you may wonder what the heck drugs I'm on. I think something triggered my natural LSD glands to start secreting again... ^^;;

So it's the day before a major anime convention, and I'm hanging around with Celes and Charm. I'm in my Seikishidan!Sol costume, and we're just chilling out in our hotel. We're waiting for the elevator, chatting a bit with the other people coming for the con. Strangely enough the the hotel has a sort of college dorm type feel to it. �_� Anyhoo, the elevator gets there, we step in and go to the main floor, where we meet up with Roni in her Ky costume. We hang around, chat for a bit, get all enthused, and in a stunning display of common sense, decide to go play baseball with the rest of the pre-con otaku. @_@ (We remain in costume throughout the dream, by the way. ^^;;)

So we're outside in a park, with about 20-30 otaku playing baseball. The four of us are sort of clustered together in the outfield, waiting for balls to come to us, but they never do. Somehow they manage to always land where Nicole and Suiel are. So we get bored, and start walking back to the hotel, wherein we discover that in order to appeal to the college crowd, Coca-Cola has started releasing its products in kegs. We were amused by the keg of Dr. Pepper, but refrained from having any.

So it turns out that our hotel/convention center is part of this huge-ass thing that includes several museums and an amusement park. (Wow, this almost sounds like we're in one of those major Resort/Hotel/Casino things in Vegas. XD Bellagio, anyone?) So we decide to head over to the natural history museum, which is across the street from our hotel. Wonderfully enough, there's a convenient glass elevator that can take us across. Being the lazy types, we take the elevator. Bad idea, as that elevator happens to have a mind of its own. First it goes up to the roof and nearly topples us over as it breaks through the ceiling, and then decides to plunge down the basement before going back up again and swinging us like a ski lift gone bad to the museum across the street. All the while Celes and Charm are going, "Whee! ^_^" and Roni and I are like, "@_@ Let us out!" I swear in the processes of zipping us across a major intersection, the elevator almost whizzed us into a bus. �_�

Then I woke up and realized it was half an hour into my Japanese class already, and that, "FUCK! I OVERSLEPT!" -_-;; *sigh* Way overslept.

Hosed this week. Mucho work to do tonight, tomorrow night, and the night after. *groan* Not to mention that now Dythim is back with his FTP server of doom/glory, and I have access to ALL of Get Backers. Fuck torrent, I'm leeching off my friends. XD And now I also have access to raws of One Piece up to 171. *twitches* Oh my god. ;_; I have so much catching up to do, and so little time to do it.

Oh yeah, and Charm is visiting me this weekend. Oh, the goodness of the two of us hanging out together, drinking, and being random.

New fic from Skuld. Been a while, I know. I've been working on my novel, sorry. I know I have two fics in the works. -_-;; They'll be coming along this Christmas or something...I swear. Besides, what else am I going to be doing at home now that I've broken up with Omi? I see much writing in my future. ^_^

Yankees lose. Biiii! ^_^ I was in the Rock Bottom last night (nice bar/grill thingy in Braintree) and we watch them lose to the Marlins. It's not so much the entire bar was cheering because the Marlins won, moreso over the fact that the Yankees lost. *sticks tongue out* So you may have won through the sheer folly of Grady Little, but you still lose the series. I feel validated. ^_^

Oh, and Venom sent me this link, it's full of prettiness for you Guilty Gear fans. ^_^ *cheers* Yay!

I'm watching Get Backers religiously. I should be doing homework. ^^;; *sweatdrops* B-b-but...Kazuki and Juubei! *hearts* And let's not forget Ban and Ginji (and how they're ALL OVER EACH OTHER). ^_^ I think I need these clearfiles. Why yes, I see canon yaoi in a shounen series. ^_^ I love you, Get Backers.
