Nostalgia

I remember way back when in high school, when Omi was pushing me to watch Trigun. I have to admit, Trigun's really slow at the beginning, and I was very reluctant to watch it because I thought it was kind of boring, despite the coolness of Vash the Stampede.

Anyways, so I'm somewhere during the first four episodes, and it's the summer after I've graduated high school, and Omi and I are writing each other e-mails every day and sending "anime bishounen" of the day pictures to each other. XD

So one day Omi sends me images of Legato and tells me he's from later in the Trigun series. Since Legato doesn't fit the typical bishounen stereotype I was into as a high-schooler, I was rather unimpressed by Legato's unapparent studliness, despite Omi's certainty that once I saw the rest of the series I would be totally digging him.

I remember thinking to myself, "I dunno...he doesn't seem my type," and wrinkling my nose.

So eventually I watched more Trigun...and well, the rest is history. XD
