Last day in Japan

It's my last day in Japan...
why am I here at a computer instead of bumming around the city?! I suppose laziness wins after all. *grin*

Anyways, list of things to hit today is ridiculously short.

Hitting Harajuku (that section of Tokyo where all the goths gather) and Asakusa-Senso-ji, and then I have to stop off at Tokyo-eki where my luggage is stored and dump money in there so they don't throw my shit out...

and then later tonight I might be hitting a bar with Martin (an awesome Dutch guy I've met at the hostel here, which is pretty cool, btw) and celebrating both our last nights in Japan.

Just sent my doujinshi off too, there goes another $90 down the drain.
Yeah, ridiculous, isn't it? I still have some doujinshi wrapped up in my suitcase too. I would say I think I've easily spent over $500 on doujinshi this trip. O_o No, you don't need to remind how absolutely ludicrous that is. I have SO MUCH doujinshi it's absolutely disgusting. *rolls around in doujin*

And the sad thing is...I still haven't finished collecting all the Toshimi Nigoshi I want, and there's still some CRUSHERs/SakuraAnnin I don't have yet. There's definitely doujinshi I wanted to buy for my friends (oh my god, I have the most gorgeous Last Exile LucciolaxDio ever in existence, and I wish I had more copies), and I didn't find my favorite SolxKy circle at Comiket, so there's more doujinshi I want that I don't own.

Yes, it's absolutely terrible. -_-

Oh well, off to enjoy my last day here in Japan before I head off to China and hang with the parents. Bleh, parents. The only thing I can look forward to is buying and watching egregious amounts of wu-xia. Which now that I look at it, ain't so bad. I miss wu-xia. They better have the later Chu Liu Xiang mini series or I am really going to cry.

Out of curiosity, what is wu-xia? And with that asked, enjoy your last day! <3

Wu-xia is a genre of Chinese martial arts cinema whose setting is usually Ancient China (usually in the Song to Ching dynasty) which has a strong base in the principles of heroism and honor. It always uses wire-fu, and is always an idealized and romanticized depiction of outlaws in Ancient China.

^_^ It's the stuff I grew up on. Ask me when I get back to the States and I rip some bits of it to show you.

Oh okee! n_n I'll try to remember to do that, too <3
