So apparently today is International Talk Like A Pirate Day.

*ahem*

Yarr, ye landlubbers! Today be Talk Like A Pirate Day, so if yer not talking like a pirate m'hearties', Cap'n Skuld'll set yer bilgebottoms swabbin' the deck! Get to it, ye filthy rats!

Anyways, so I had an awesome Friday night at Avalon where Paul Van Dyk was mixing. :3 It was totally awesome. We hit Gyuhama for dinner, and then went Alex's friend's place to pre-party, and headed over to Avalon where we had seats in the VIP section.

There was a big group there, but people mostly kept to themselves and I had an absolute blast dancing with Kakashi-sensei. :3

Saturday I just sat around and bummed around the house (as per usual) and here I am now, in my Luffy costume, talking like a Mugiwara Pirate (hara heta!) and watching Pirates of the Caribbean. :3

Geek, much?

Totally unrelated to pirates, really, but I'm putting together a group for pre-registration at Anime Boston, and didn't know if you'd like to pre-register with us. Also, if you have hotel plans or not yet ^^

Oh, and some friends are doing a Trigun group and looking for any of the baddies ^^

Sure, how many people you got so far for the pre-reg? I might do a different group, but I'm not entirely certain. The $5 really doesn't matter to me.

As for doing a Trigun group, I'll be Legato again. I'm planning to remake the costume anyway, so I'm totally up for going as Legato again if he isn't already taken. ^^;; Unfortunately my schedule's going to be a little screwy as that'll probably be the 2nd group I'm a part of. Saturday my friends and I have a full Samurai 7 group going, so if you want me as Legato from Trigun I think you might have to catch me on Friday. *sweatdrop*

Is that all right? ^^;;

As for hotel-ness, since the Hynes Convention Center is around the corner and down the street for me (literally, it's a 5 minute walk from my place) I won't be getting a hotel room or anything. But it would be nice to have room or a place to otherwise drop our stuff in should we need it. *huggles*
