Before I run back to KotOR...

I figured I better update before everybody figured me lost to the Dark Side of the Force. ^_^

Anyways, been playing KotOR like mad these past couple of days, because with the wonderful of addition of Sasuke to my pirate crew, I now have enough computing and graphics power to play KotOR, which is something I didn't have when it first came out earlier this year.

The goal is to finish KotOR by February, when KotOR II comes out. Maybe I'll even get KH: Chain of Memories finished. ^^;; Just about to get off of Taris. *rrrr* Must finish game! @_@

THANKSGIVING
I can't quite remember what I spent all of Thanksgiving doing. I go up around 12:30pm, played a bit of KotOR and then promptly panicked about the state of the turkey, since if we were going to bake it it sure wasn't going to be on time for dinner.

We ended up deep-frying the turkey (yeah, you heard that right. I fear to think how many gallons of oil we used on a 14 pound turkey) and I spent the entire afternoon making the mashed potatoes, gravy, baked yams, and stuffing. You'd think something like that wouldn't take 4 hours, but then you'd be wrong, folks. ^_^ Attendance was pretty awesome. Ducky and ZZZ came over to celebrate, as well as most of the usual Fenway crew, Malima, her sister Violetta, Ken, Harold, Mari, Margaret and me. It wasn't too bad, we had a lot of fun in a big group. Afterwards we all helped clean up, and managed to get everything washed up in record time. We even played a game of Star Wars LIFE being the big nerds we are. (I ended up winning, ruling the world as a Sith Lord. :3 Go me!)

Spent all of Friday afternoon (since that's when I woke up) and evening playing KotOR, watching some anime (not much), and finishing up chapter 4 of Miles. It's now off to the betas, so all you KxL fans can stop poking me (in the meantime) with your sharp objects. ^_^

Friday night Kakashi-sensei came over while I was still playing KotOR, and we spent a very enjoyable evening talking, watching some anime, and otherwise fraternizing. We have more in common than I originally guessed, which is why we work out as such awesome super-friends, I suppose. Kakashi-sensei and I got up a little bit before noon this morning and we had some lunch before doing work. I actually got my 9.16 problem set done, and I hope he got comparable work done on his stuff too. ^_^;;

Anyhoos, since the betas haven't replied to me about Miles 4...it's obviously time for me to play more KotOR.

"We ended up deep-frying the turkey"

That may be the first time this has been done.
In a Union state, at least.

It was waaaay less of a pain in the ass than baking a turkey in the oven for 6-8 hours. :3

And well, there's a first time for everything, I suppose. ^_^ Go deep-fried turkey!
