I am just spamming the blog today.
I just geeked out over Japan. :3 Sometimes I think that what I'm really meant to do is sociology and anthropology, and not neuroscience at all. But I have to pick one over the other, cause there aren't enough hours of the day for me to do both and sleep. :p
I now have over 20 books on topics I'm interested in for my 4-5 page Japanese paper.
Topics range from Japanese feminism, cyberculture, male homosexuality (Mark McClelland has more books out!), the Takarazuka (I still haven't seen one of their shows!), fan culture and language. I really don't think I'd ever be able to do field work in these fields, but reading about them is damn interesting. :3 Even if I never get to write a paper on half of these things, just holing up in my room and reading these books would be damn cool. I should do that over some break or something. ^_^v
