The date with Ben went surprisingly well. Granted, I spent about 90% of the time talking (as I usually do) but he didn't seem particularly turned off by anything I said (not even when I told him I enjoyed reading yaoi), which is always a plus on a first date. Granted, I did start talking about how I wanted to study Japanese culture as an anthropologist, so I may have inadvertently gave my interest in t3h gay an academic spin...instead of you know, telling him that I liked it at first cause it is t3h pr0n.
There's a lot more to Ben than meets the eye, which I am pleased to learn. He also seems to uphold a lot of the good old rules of chivalry, such as opening the door for me and stuff. He also refused to let me pay for dinner despite the fact that I'm the one who asked, which was very sweet of him. :3 I hope he doesn't insist very time, then I might have to sock him a good one.
We had good times talking and stuff, and I think I'm really interested in dating this guy a little bit more.
Anyways, hosed with Japanese work (ugh, having to make up all the work I'm missing because I'm going to SfN) so I'll catch you guys later ^_^
EDIT: I hope I'm not being webstalked. ¬_¬

WORST LESBIAN EVER!
Yeah, tell me about it. :/ But Ben's kinda cute. :3 In that "I would love to dress you up as an ancient Chinese warlord" kinda way. X3
I stand by my original statement that bisexual is more appropriate.
At least you have possibilities of getting play.
