Had a fun time last night hanging out with Jay and his friends again. :D They're always so great. Didn't play much smashies, but I did watch a lot of movies. One of his friends even had the Initial D Live Action movie, which I got to watch this morning. I have to say, I found the movie kind of disappointing. Kyouichi wasn't Kyouichi at all (they took away his calm, his intelligence, and his calculation, and just made him a stupid punk), Seiji was...strange (he was smaller, and wore a bandanna too and had dreads), Bunta looked hella like Bunta but was an alcoholic and totally abusive (NOT BUNTA ;____;), Itsuki was a total spoiled brat, and most of the time Takumi looked more angsty than just plain spaced out. :/
WTF, yo. I think the only two people I didn't complain too much about were Ryousuke and Nakazato. Unfortunately Nakazato didn't have his anime personality at all, but he did get this cute little moustache and adorable smile. ~<3 I'm just wondering where Shingo is, and why Takeshi was hugging this fat guy when Takumi won the Ryousuke/Kyouichi/Takumi threesome race.
Also, they made the movie hella gay. There were at least two or three instances when the sexuality of certain characters (Ryousuke and Nakazato) mostly, came in to question. XD Dude! They gay-ified Initial D for me! They're not supposed to do that! Having the movie on auto-gay ain't fun at all! And what was up with the shitty rap music instead of the awesome eurobeat?!
