My clone is gay for ancient Chinese warlords of the Three Kingdoms persuasion.
But then again, who isn't?
My clone is gay for ancient Chinese warlords of the Three Kingdoms persuasion.
But then again, who isn't?
The best quote that came out of Thanskgiving weekend 2006:
"I'm as high as kite right now. No, I'm higher than that. I'm as high as a pteradactyl."
GO ANDY.
I'm almost 60 hours into FFXII. And I'm barely 2/3 of the way through the game. Granted, I've basically spent the entire weekend leveling, sidequesting, and generally delaying the inevitable final dungeons.
This is probably the longest I have ever spent on an RPG (I beat KH2 in about 35 hours, Jade Empire took me about 30, KotOR 1 and 2 took me about 30-35 hours each, and I have never spent more than 40 on any of the Final Fantasys), and I'm surprised I'm not bored out of my mind yet. I actually like the gameplay. I think out of all the FFs I have ever played the gameplay in this thing is the most enjoyable. :3 Good job, Square Enix.
...probably back to more leveling tonight. I need to find the Deathbringer weapon because the Feywood is not dropping it for me. >___< Yay, more sidequesting. ¬_¬
=____= *shivers* Had a scary dream, it's been ages since I've really had what I'd consider a nightmare.
First half of dream: sneaking around trying not to get caught = good
Second half of dream: finding out there's a body in the closet in my apartment because Balthier dug out its brain and handed it to me = bad
Usually I have trouble running in dreams because I can never seem to run fast enough, but thank goodness I didn't have that problem this time. I bolted out of the house and just fucking kept running around town until I woke up.
Good thing it's 9am and I'm supposed to be up anyway, or I'd never get back to sleep if it was dark.
Why is it that I have Balthier in my dream and of all things here's like, "Here, have some brains." :/ My life hates me.
Christmas cards! :D
I made the post on my LJ a while ago, but I think a couple of you guys have missed it. Anyways, if you want Christmas/Holiday cards this year, you can either check out this Livejournal entry or drop me an e-mail.
While I'm here, I'll just state that I need addresses for some of you guys, most notably:
Avatrix
BHM
graymm
Malima
rayv
so I can send you guys cards of happiness and stuff. XD
Whoo! :3 That was a great Thanksgiving, even though I was token meat-eater. X3 My roommate, Comma and his girlfriend baked 4 pies, made a salad, stuffed a pumpkin, made spinach strudel, and baked a giant Unturkey (basically a wheat gluten vegan turkey substitute), and it was a great dinner. :3 We invited Jhonen Red and Erin who happened to both be vegetarian, so for once in my life I was token meat-eater. XD But I was prepared, for I bought half a pound of deli-sliced turkey breast and munched on that for lunch. :3 So I can still claim I had turkey on Thanksgiving. XD
After a very filling dinner (with a lot of leftovers) we watched Hook. XD Great Thanksgiving movie, really. Perfect amount of cheesiness. I have this nice little quote about it from Wikipedia for you: Due to Dustin Hoffman being regarded as a difficult actor to work with directors, there was a sense of tension on set between him and Spielberg. As a joke during filming, Hoffman and Bob Hoskins added a homosexual subtext between Captain Hook and Smee, much to Spielberg's horror.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. :3 Ah, the gay pirate tradition.
On a spontaneous sort of whim, Comma, the girlfriend, and I went to go see "The Fountain" today. Mostly interested in it because of the pretty and the director, which was incidentally the same as "Requiem for a Dream." Unfortunately it's one of those movies that tries to be too pretentiously profound, and at its end you find yourself wonderful whether or not you really liked the film, and not so much ruminating on its themes. :/ I probably wouldn't tell most of my friends to go see it unless they got stoned first, cause it is pretty. :3 And Hugh Jackman is amazingly hot in it. o_O *fans self*
If you're into club-you-over-the-head symbolism, pretty CGI, deciphering metaphors, and non-linear plotlines, you'll like "The Fountain." I probably won't go seeing it again, even though I sort of borderline barely liked it. :/ Hook was better, IMHO. Time to go watch "Borat" and "Casino Royale" this weekend too, methinks. XD
And I close with some comments about FFXII, now that I'm 47 hours in and have about 1/3 of the game left:
- Gee thanks, Reddas. A little help here? No? Just going to stand and watch? Bastard. :(
- Balthier, you are cute, snarky, and sexy. And I see where you got your cute and your snarky from. *fangirl*
- Vaan, why can you only remember one piece of information at a time? :/ Retard.
- Reddas Manse? MANSE?! I had to go look that word up because "manse" in my head is a misspelling of something else. :/
- This week, on Storytime with Jon: "Bitch, you shit on my dick!"
I hear this is somewhat infamous around FSU now.
- Just what we wanted to hear: STRUCK BY LIGHTNING a fun remix of the UCLA taser incident. :3 Irreverence at its best.
- The best One Piece AMV ever. One Piece fans will have probably seen this already.
Animosity toward gays and lesbians is one of the few issues that unites Jews, Muslims and Christians in the Holy Land. They have jointly come out against gay parades in the city, and are all likely to oppose the Supreme Court ruling.
In the words of Jon Stewart, "Oh gays, is there anything that hating you can't solve?"
This is part of a news flash that the Israeli high court now recognizes same-sex marriages performed abroad.
So my roommate, Comma, likes Trigun. His anime lore is somewhat limited, but the Trigun box set sitting on top the living room bookshelf is very telling. This is how a recent conversation went:
Comma: Since you seem to have a clone, who is probably the good twin, doesn't that make you Knives?
Skuld: XD ... I'm not sure which one of us is the good twin.
Comma: You've already got Legato working for you, so that would make the answer to that question rather trivial.
News flash: I'm now Millions Knives.
DISCUSS.
edit: and while I'm at it, have a meme!
1.) Minimize all windows so that your desktop is visible.
Optional variant: keep your music program open/visible so your music is also visible.
2.) Screencap it.
3.) Post to your blog and marvel at how differently people organize themselves.
I'm sure this is all a grand ploy to see just how gay my desktop is. Given that it used to be this, I'd have to work really hard to get gayer than that. Hell, not even buttsex is as gay as that. So for my most recent desktop I decided to keep to the Kingdom Hearts theme and feature a different pairing.
You can still tell by my winamp open that my taste in music is awesome.
What's the featured Wikipedia article today?
It's Stephen Colbert at the 2006 White House Correspondent's Dinner.
If you haven't seen it yet, you have to. Stephen Colbert is such a badass.
So it turns out I have no reason to worry this year about MIT Mystery Hunt, one of my former ACME teammates (whom I also followed over to Pturnips) is reforming ACME. :3 That's wonderful because we used to be a pretty big team with an awesome long history, so I'll be glad to see it up and running again, albeit without most of the original crew we had for the Monopoly and The Matrix hunt. :3
That also reminds me...I have to find the ACME theme song that Setec Astronomy wrote. I used to have the file somewhere, I think it may be amongst my old burned CDs.
Either way...ACME is back. :3 This excites me greatly. Rumors have been that large teams will get penalized this year so...maybe our medium-ish newly conglomerated team will have a shot. If we end up running the Hunt, I may just have to shell out for a plane ticket to Boston next year...
EDIT: Found the awesome video of the ACME theme song. :D Oh, that brings back awesome memories of undergrad. Rah! :D *cheers*
I totally just beat Free Bird on Hard mode.
Now I have to go and do it on Expert.
OH SHI--
I was sitting in the microscope room analysing my data on the computer and my professor just walked in and caught me dorking out and lip synching to "One Day More."
... I am dead of embarassment.
It's kind of like when random Galactica characters walk in on Dr. Baltar doing silly things, except I have my pants on (always a plus!) and instead of a sexy blonde supermodel cylon I have Inspector Javert. ... :/
The amount of grinding that I have to do to keep in my "comfort zone" in FFXII is starting to get annoying. Maybe I was just spoiled by KH2, KotOR, and Jade Empire (the last RPGs I played) because they're way easier and required no grinding to get through. Hell, by the end of KotOR2 I was so powerful I'd walk into a room, Force Lightning EVERYBODY in there a couple of times and barely even take hits to my magic/Force points. (I was soooo darkside in that game it was pretty ridiculous.)
Also, monsters? Why must you travel often in packs and mob my poor three person party? And why must you get in 3 or 4 hits while everybody's hitting my party leader? If I had a nickel everytime Balthier said, "raise plz!" ...I'd probably have a dollar or something. Or at least enough for a soda.
Oh and Balthier, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING ON YOUR FEET? You look like... a duck. :x
I finally started writing my grant last night. Finished the summary and the specific aims sections, now working on the background & significance. Everything will hopefully be done on Monday night so I can have all of Tuesday to give it to my friends to proofread.
I actually enjoyed writing my grant. It was fun. I actually had to force myself to stop writing at 3am because I had to go to bed, otherwise I would've stayed up all night writing it because I enjoyed it so much.
I think I've finally cracked, finally gone off the deep end.
...maybe I am cut out to be an academic after all...
...I think One Piece movie 8 is supposed to be the Arabasta arc. o_o The title of the movie translates to, "One Piece: Episode of Arabasta, The Desert Princess and the Pirates." The trailer is here.
I'm not sure whether this is going to be all just edited clips from the TV animation, or whether they're going to completely reanimate it. Either way, I'm glad their doing it cause I do think a lot of it can be condense from the original 30-something episodes. Arabasta is, and should be, one of everybody's favorite OP arcs. :3 Goddammit, I wish I was in Japan.
edit: One Piece 435: Yay, new nakama! ~<3 But then again we've known who that'd be since FOREVER.
I like fun memes where other people guess stuff! Have another!
Pick 10 quotes from 10 of your favorite movies and try and have your friends guess what movies they are from. As they guess right mark them off with the answers.
1) "I just wanted to cuddle." "Cuddle? What a fag." The Boondock Saints
2) "It comes in pints? I'm getting one." "But you've already had a half!" The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings
3) "WHAT? My rage will control me? Is that what you were gonna say?!" "...not necessarily." Mystery Men
4) "A handful of people on a leaky boat are going to save the world?" "Exactly." Mortal Kombat
5) "Nobody fucks with the Jesus." The Big Lebowski
6) "I got news for you, pal. You ain't leading but two things right now: jack and shit. And Jack left town." Army of Darkness
7) "I told you, we're an anarcho-syndicist commune, we take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week." Monty Python and the Holy Grail
8) "Then why are you smiling?" "Because I know something you don't know." The Princess Bride
9) "Wise man say, 'forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.'" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
10) "So, what do you need, besides a miracle?" "Guns. Lots of guns." The Matrix
Happy Birthday to my dear friend Ali-chan! I miss you muchlies! ~<3
A new study shows only about 1% of the internet is sex.
I refuse to believe that, given how quickly /b refreshes, how many random p0rnographic Google search results I get (okay, okay, I may be using pr0n-biased search terms...but still!), and how Rule 34 HAS NEVER FAILED ME.
This calls for...MOAR PR0N! Do your part to the internet by posting MOAR! Keep the internet for porn and stop it from turning into something for the dissemination of things like information and people's personal lives. Cause come on...that's just silly.
My excuse for scoring so low is that I may be nerdy, but I'm not white. X3 The music video came up on MTV Hits last night and I was cracking up the whole time. I AM A NERD! And damn proud of it. :3
...and I'm tired today because I stayed up until 4am last night reading my favorite Les Mis slash fic. *hides* I'm sure that just upped my nerdiness by a significant amount. XD
My roommate, Q10, made this little comic of hilarious real-lifeness. Read it here and be amused.
Also, I love Guitar Hero. It gives me music I've missed out on as a kid because my parents wouldn't let me listen to the radio and because they're asian. It gives me awesome inspiration to fic (yes, 'fic' is verb now. Thus spake Skuld. *gonggggg*) to "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Sweet Child O' Mine" when I really should be writing my grant.
Too bad Guitar Hero lyrics aren't applicable to grants. :/ At least I can still listen to them.
Okay, working now. FOR REAL.
So the NRSA for my grant writing class that I thought was due on the 29th? .... is actually due on the 22nd.
OH SHI-
Time to start writing the fuck NOW. My puntage so far can be squarely (ba-dum pssh!) blamed on FFXII.
Why hello, Playstation 3. I've decided I want one. But not until more titles come out and I have more money. :( I have yet to decipher this moon language (I'll probably do that tonight while the roomie is playing FFXII), but if any of you find anything particularly interesting from this (probably not), do drop a line.
While I'm on the topic of Playstation-y things, let me make a few comments on FFXII:
1: Balthier, for a snarky sky pirate with an airship you sure do advocate a lot of walking. For the love of God can't you suggest hitching a ride to Archades? There has got to be a faster way than on foot.
2: Al-Cid, w-w-what? I didn't catch that. Did you say Antonio Banderas?
3: Vayne, is Milli Vanilli gone wrong. And I'm not talking about the lip synching.
4: This is the only game where I can run around leveling controllng my characters with my toes while eating a sandwich with both hands. This is a whole new level of gaming.
For the record, getting baked and watching "The Big Lebowski" and "Shaun of the Dead" is the biggest favor you can do yourself on a Saturday night. XD
I've always hated my white layouts. They've never lasted long. There is something that I intensely dislike about the color quite and I can't quite figure out what it is. Maybe I'll futz with it later to make it an off-white or maybe I'll just get lazy. XD That is the more likely scenario.
This is my desperate attempt to like a white layout. After working on it for about two hours, I'm still not entirely satisfied with the results.
Oh well. new layout, folks.
EDIT: Fixed the colors. Okay, now it's 3:30am and I should be going to bed.
I am beating my head in frustration over FFXII because it's HARRRRD. I'm 28 hours in and I NEEEEEEED to level or this dungeon is going to take me FOREVER. *bangs head against wall* When was the last time I played an RPG where I needed to level? =_____= It's been a long time, folks.
STOP DYING BALTHIER, plzkthx. You're too pretty to fall by the zombies I keep running into. :(
I'm not sure what's going on, but the former Fenway House member is resigning from heading my MIT Mystery Hunt team (Pturnips) for this year. Since I'm now a remote solver, I"m not really in the 'in' on the team politics and have no idea whether there's a successor groomed, or whether like my previous team, ACME, the members will be forced to fend for themselves and try to join new teams.
This is rather upsetting news because:
1) Mystery Hunt is only 2 months away
2) Remote solving last year was a blast with the AIM chatrooms and the Wiki
3) MYSTERY HUNT IS ONLY 2 MONTHS AWAY
I've never missed a mystery hunt before, and I don't plan on missing mystery hunts anytime in the near future. I always take Fridays off because of Mystery Hunt, and I don't intend to do any differently come January. Grrr, this is distressing. Time to contact fellow Pturnips members and see what they're up to.
One of these days when I am rich, I will fly to MIT for the Mystery Hunt again, and it will be awesomeness.
EDIT: Goddammit, I dropped Perplex City way too early. ARG!
So far my Facebook alter-ego has:
- dated Nico Robin
- hooked up with Hard Gay at a Village People concert, foooo!
- hooked up with Gonzo the Great in 1979, and it was fagolicious
- hooked up with James Norrington in 1982, and it was a drunken haze
And none of these were friends details by my own writing.
Random people on the internet are the best things ever.
FFXII progress has slowed considerably since I got Guitar Hero II last night. XD Goddammit. I just finished up Fifth Tier on GH2 (whoo! Sweet Child O' Mine!), so tonight hopefully I can get to Tier 8 and die of hardness on Beast and the Harlot. :3 Also, this game is a lot harder than its predecessor. On GH1 I do swimmingly on expert. Now I'm having a minorly hard time on Hard. Must practice more.
On FFXII I just finished the Henne Mines. :3 Whee! I've logged about 24 hours (I took some major breaks to level a bit, which is actually fun in this battle system!). I need to finish this soon or my NRSA for my grant writing class will never get written. *whimper*
++++++
Also: Virginia - I've never trusted you to vote the right way before, but please, please, please for the love of God, choose the left!
Congrats to the new Madam Speaker, at least the Dems control half of Congress right now. Talk about the voters finally taking a stand. Thank you.

There's something wrong with my brain. I don't remember much of my dreams last night, but it did involve a horrible doomish foreboding (it was so bad it actually woke me up at 6am, but thankfully I have my sleeping superpower so I opened my eyes, looked around my room, and promptly decided it was safe to sleep again), fighting the undead, and running into Millions Knives.
Yes, Knives was in my dream last night. O__O Not even intravenusann's friend who just looks like Knives, KNIVES WAS THERE IN MY DREAM LAST NIGHT. He may or may not have had anything to do with the DOOM that woke me up, but man. It was pretty freaky. He was just sort of there, I ran into him, I just remember staring up at him and going, "... ... oh shit."
I hope that was West Slang!Knives and not Evil/Crazy!Knives or I am never sleeping again, superpower or no. :x
note: I have no idea how to write in Osaka-ben. After having lived in Osaka for about half a year, I can barely speak it, and even then I'm sure it sounds really funny.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY BRAIN, DAMMIT?!
Heads up to my peeps in Boston and Los Angeles.
Tally Hall is performing in Boston at Axis on November 18th.
Tally Hall is also coming back to Los Angeles on December 2! :D Yaaaay! Andy and I are going to see them, of course. Anybody else wanna tag along? Get your tickets here!
Hey guys,
PLEASE VOTE TODAY.
and buy Guitar Hero II. :3 That is all.
If I was stuck on a deserted, remote island and I had the choice of companion of either a PS2 and all the games I wanted or a real person, I'd probably choose the Playstation.
I hope they have a television on that remote island and the appropriate power source.
I'm such a sociopath. :p I don't have time for people, but I do have time for videogames. ... as is evidence by my massive gaming stint thus far. Though I have to say that in terms of hours-logged-per-day Jeremy's got me beat by a good hour or so.
As much as I love Victoria's Secret, I really can't justify $40 for jammies. ;____; But that doesn't stop me from wanting them. VS, why do I love you so much? You're practically the only girly thing I like.
Now the roomie is addicted to FFXII too! :D Whee!
Hehehe. The original plan was for him to play and me to work while he's playing, but it seems that's backfired on me and what I'm actually doing is watching him play while I do things like surf t3h intarwebs and read manga.
GRRR.
Ganked this meme from Ari. I didn't actually do hers because by the time I got to it everybody had already answered.
My problem with these things is usually either that they're screamingly obvious or they're so obscure nobody gets them. I trust you to be able to see through both ends of the spectrum, internets.
Summarize 10 of your fandoms in one sentence, then see who on your friend's list can guess each fandom.
1) If "I feel safe when you're here" means "I love you" then that's pretty much canon, folks. GUILTY GEAR
2) That's the worst case of the rash that I've ever seen, but it's okay, it's fanfiction! And that makes it all better. KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
3) Is that a guitar-playing ghost with a pompadour? Yes, yes it is. GUNGRAVE
4) If those boys did it (albeit, they didn't do it right) with only 3 people, why is it that when you play the game itself you have a party of 7? FINAL FANTASY X
5) Both of you boys are compensating, but at the end of the day, girth always wins. FINAL FANTASY VI
6) My dear sir, you need to enunciate more clearly. Dying is no excuse. TOKYO BABYLON/X
7) I have no idea how the comedic mishaps of one poor man, his mind-controlling cat, his obnoxious neighbor next door, and said neighbor's hamster named "Mr. Fluffy" (just to name a few of the recurring characters) could have amused me for that long, but it did.
8) Not only does this show fail at maintaining all pretense of heterosexual relationships, it's also set to the types of songs one can find on Para Para Paradise. I should be ashamed, but I'm not. INITIAL D
9) Everything you do, you do it for your nakama. And you kick a lot of ass while you're at it, though nobody ever dies. ONE PIECE
10) Swinging around a 20-foot bullet-filled spiky bondage flail because you're fighting for the man you love is the definition of BADASS. Did you make that yourself just for the fight or did you drag it out of your master's kinky sex closet? TRIGUN (MAXIMUM)
edit: Okay, one left you guys. Somebody has to take a stab at #7. Technically #7 is actually cheating on my part, but...it i>is a fandom in itself. I swear.
So far the only thing to annoy me a great deal about FFXII is their pronounciation of "marquis."
IT'S 'MAR-KEE' NOT 'MAR-KWISS' YOU STUPID FUCKS. I don't care if Ivalice doesn't have a France, that's no excuse to pronounce words incorrectly. (This also applies to everybody here who says "meelee" instead of "may-lay." Smashies is also an acceptable substitute. ^_~)
Every single time Balthier says "Markwiss" I want to wrap my fingers around his neck and squeeze very hard for a very long time. :3 Other than that, he and Basch are my favorite characters thus far. Vaan is typical emo teenage Square main character stuff, but I actually find myself liking him, and he's not as annoying as I originally thought he'd be. I despised Yuna in FFX (I know I'm in the minority on that one), and was pleasantly surprised to find that I don't hate Ashe. I actually sort of like her. She's not your helpless damsel in distress or your virgin matyred sacrifice (two archetypes that make me want to tear my brain out), she's actually kind of badass and cool.
Could it be that Japan actually turned out a strong female character?! The world must be ending.
The Clone doesn't like Fran's voice, but I like it. Granted, I haven't heard the Japanese one, but if it's something squeaky and girly and totally kawaii!Japan I'm going to have to choke a bitch.
Penelo's the only character I'm kind of "meh" about. Yeah, she's cute, but with all the other awesome characters in my party who needs her? I am also extremely miffed that they won't let me have 4 people in my party, like the good old days in FFVI. The fourth person is always a "guest." WTF is up with that? Just put a freakin' fourth person in there so I can have my party of Balthier, Basch, Ashe, and Vaan or Fran. Square, you've let me down. *sniffles* But fear not, I still love you. :3 ~<3 And your battle system of awesome.
A lot of people are like, "wah wah wah, the battle system is passive and shitty." Well, you can make the battle system un-passive if you want to turn off all gambits (I keep them on), and I actually like the absence of a special battle screen. It conjures up a design that is similar to North American-made RPGs, and is thus much more suited to my play style. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that Square is pretty damn good at holding together a plotline (though recently their stories have not been as good as say...KotOR) I wouldn't even be playing them. I've always hated the stupid battle system and how it just feels like meaningless grinding. Somehow, the way they've worked it now makes me actually enjoy battles. Thanks Square, for stepping away (just for a second) from your Japanocentrism.
BSG is actually good again. WOW. When I saw the season opener I was all like *groan* this is totally turning into the early seasons of DS9. And I actually really like where they're going this season. It's super cool. :D And I'm never going to get over the fact that Sharon in my mind is still "Boomer" and not "Athena." But it's nice she's got a name now nobody gets confused when I say "Sharon." I think it's interesting how Boomer now accepts her cylon-ness whereas Athena prefers to hang out with the humans on Galactica. :3 I like that sort of juxtaposition. Thanks BSG writers, let me give you a great big hug.
I'm convinced the reason I'm so fat now is because I smoked so much during spring term and got the munchies like crazy.
Still, not quite as bad as Dave who ate a whole medium pizza and then wanted to go to In 'n Out afterwards. :3
Hey, it's Friday! And Friday means Battlestar Galactica and playing FFXII until I drop from sheer exhaustion! Let's hope it doesn't take me 80 hours to realize I should eat/drink/sleep because then I might have come down with the "South Korean Blizzard gamer" syndrome, and that would be bad because I'm not South Korean nor am I particularly into any Blizzard games!
God has smiled upon you this day
The fate of a nation in your hands
And blessed be the children, we
who fight with all our bravery
'til only the righteous stand.
You see the distant flames
they bellow in the night
You fight in all our names
For what we know is right
And when you all get shot
and cannot carry on
for though you die,
La Resistance lives on...
Preliminary impression of FFXII after 3 hours of gaming:
AWESOME. Great graphics, great music (ZOMG! Full orchestra!), great voice-acting, great battle system...
JUST GREAT. I LOVE IT. Emo teenage main character, but he's somehow more tolerable than Tidus. Nobody's going to ever see me again until I finish this awesomeness.
Wow. There were a lot of people in West Hollywood. O___O I don't know if I believe half a million, but I'm willing to say a good 200,000 or so. I met my quota of the night by being recognized by one person. It was at the beginning of the night (so I guess it started off on the right foot), when we were standing at the corner of Doheny and Santa Monica, waiting for friends to show up. Some guy in a pretty sweet Joker costume (from Batman) saw me from a couple feet away and went, "...Jin!"
So I'm happy. XD There were other nerds there dressed as Sakura Kasugano, Soryu Asuka Langley, Sasuke, Naruto, and Halloween Town!Sora and a Nobody. So I'm not the only otaku dork actually dressed as a character! Ha!
There were some really sweet costumes out there. In addition to all the drag queens just going all out and being gorgeous, there was a great Jack Skellington on stilts and a gorgeous drag queen as The Diva from The Fifth Element. Pretty sweet shit.
Overdone costumes that I was just sick of seeing by the end of the night were Jack Sparrows, Mexican Wrestlers, and V (from V for Vendetta). :( C'mon people! Oh well. One of the most hilarious was Will Farrell's character in the infamous SNL "needs more cowbell" skit. XD
Anyways, I'm crashing cause I'm tired. =______= Ugh. Goodnight folks.
