:( I am super annoyed at my mother. She's known since Thanksgiving when I was coming home. She's known since Thanksgiving when my cousin is coming to visit. She's known for at least two weeks that I have to pick up Anasai from the airport on the 23rd, and then she calls me tonight and tells me, "Hey, we're going to Vegas on Wednesday and I don't think we're gonna make it back on Saturday, so how about getting somebody else to pick up your friend?"
First of all, I said in the previous phone conversation with my mom (no less than three days ago) that I don't want to go to Vegas, she can just leave me out of it. Second of all, WHEN I MAKE A FUCKING PROMISE TO MY FRIENDS I FUCKING KEEP IT. *super annoyed* No, I can't ask my friends to pick Anasai up. SHE'S IN SALT LAKE CITY FOR ONE DAY ONLY AND MY MOM SAYS I CAN'T MAKE IT?! I never agreed to go to Vegas and I don't really care to go with my family anyway, and she suddenly makes this decision for me.
Talking with her, I've managed to convince her that I can survive at home by myself (CHRIST! How old does she think I am?!) for a couple of days (I'm likely to haul my ass over to Charm and Crystal's place to hang out with them), but she's just like, "Why don't you get the neighbors to take you to the airport?" :/ Cause she doesnt' trust Charm and Crystal or even my ex-boyfriend, Omi to drive in the snow to pick Anasai up. She has to organize every little event in my life for me.
And so I tell her, very firmly, "Look, Mom, I can arrange for my own friend to get picked up if I need to. But I'm going."
...and she just fucking hangs up on me.
:( I am very unhappy. I hope I don't go to bed angry cause every time I go to bed angry I have nightmares, and given that I'm all by my lonesome tonight and most of my apartment complex is abandoned, that is not very cool. :(
On the bright side of things, Avatrix! I got your truffles! They were very delicious and I didn't expect to get them at all so it was a great, wonderful surprise. :3 I ate them all! And the hot chocolate is delicious as well. *slurp*
I'm surprised the USPS didn't screw me over today, I also got a package from my favorite t-shirt person in the world, Dave of Seibei! *snuggles* :D I got the shirts and I love them! X3 I've been showing them to all my friends. Thank you! ;______; They're so great. *so many hugs*
