This is a distress call to all the people out there who are more computer savvy than me.
My laptop, Bunji, has apparently died. I was on critical battery after watching some Honey and Clover last night, so I plugged him in and turned him off (read: put the screen down; he goes into automatic hibernation) before going to bed. Well, I woke up, went to him, pressed the power button, and he's not booting to Windows. In fact, I can't even get him to boot into the BIOS from the initial DELL screen. :/ I've tried putting a Windows CD into him hoping he'll have the sense to boot from CD, but that doesn't happen either. After the DELL screen disappears all I get is a black screen with a blinking "_" cursor. :(
This turn of event is super crappy. Please advise.
EDIT: ... So... I took Bunji's battery out and he mysteriously has decided to boot up. Good job, Bunji. :D Now I just have to figure out what went wrong...
