I am not going to be on AIM at all for the next month for the following reasons:

1) Jade Empire
2) it's nearing the end of the term and neuroanatomy finals are killer (let's just say that the final is worth enough of your grade that even if you go into it with an A, you can still end up failing the class if you bomb the final)
3) Spring Break subsequently

But mostly #1.

Today: Jade Empire special edition. I have a feeling I'm going to be scarce for a bit. :p

I think I may be finally forced to admit that Battlestar Galactica has jumped the shark. I sniffed it a bit in season 2.5, but was too afraid to admit it to myself. :/

...one new scene shown during the presentation was Sephiroth impaling Cloud and hoisting him over his head while his Masamune was still embedded inside of him...

Also, Sora and Riku in the background of the new cover for KH2: Final Mix is just begging for some photoshop.

OH LAWD, IS DAT SOME REMIX?

So my friend Dreamshade is the bomb because he made me some better mixes of my horrible singing and rapping, so I now sound slightly less horrible! It's like Photoshop! With sound!

So he's made me a "pro mix" with some reverb and a "dry mix" with just volume adjustment. With the miracle of computers, even I can sound better than an owl dying of terminal flatulence.

EDIT: Also, does anyone else find it hilariously amusing that the two themes of the Death Note live action movies are "Dani California" and "Snow (Hey Oh)" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, neither of which have anything to do with any of the themes in Death Note?

I really hope that because it's Valentine's Day today the traffic will be less, but hah. Probably not. *prays not to get T-boned turning out of the driveway*

That said, I think I'm going to spend the rest of the evening bent over Jeremy's new computer figuring out what the hell is wrong with it. T_T

:3 Birthday party was a blast. Thanks to Galahad who brought the Wii, which ended up being great fun. The controls are all right for the console, the only part of it that really disappoints me is Wii Boxing, but I was pretty gone by the time the party got around to that, so it might've just been me. :3 There were plenty of drinks and food to be had, I had about three shots of SoCo and a Guinness, and that was it for me. Three games of poker (Jeremy took our money twice), 10 rounds of Mario Kart double dash (which Dave rules at, for reasons still unbeknownst to me), and a lot of people. :3

Thanks to Jose and Sylvia for the cakes, Jeremy and Q10 for the pies, Andy and Dave for the present (a Samurai Champloo bag with Jin on it! :D), and everybody else for bringing beers, themselves, and making the atmosphere. :3

EDIT: Omi's sort of convinced me not to get a new computer for the moment. Getting things in the middle of switchovers = bad. That said, my system is currently perfectly capable of running Jade Empire, though I am thinking of getting an ATI Radeon X1650 to upgrade my 9600 for making gaming better. Discuss.

All is well. It turned out that my wallet was hiding on the couch under my bag of beef jerky, which is why I didn't see it when I was looking all over for it in the morning. ¬_¬ Yes, I realize how incredibly silly that sounds.

Anyways, birthday party is this weekend, so those of you who are able to drop by please do! There will be games, more games, beer, and pies. Sounds like a complete party to me. XD ~<3 Hopefully the worst of my cold will be gone by then. o_o

Why is it that the one day I forget to bring my lunch happens to coincide with the day I lose track of my wallet? :(

My roommate just found another condom in the couch. Note the italicized word, it means this hasn't been the first time.

In my defense, this couch came from the garage downstairs and is from somebody completely unknown and anonymous. We'll call him or her "Couch Sex" from here on in.

EDIT: Has anybody noticed that the "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" article being the Featured Article of the Day on Wikipedia today is surprisingly well-timed given the discussion has that has been going on recently at my LJ feed?
