*whacks head against table* Screwed...screwed...screwed...

I'm not sure if this day can get worse...First I find out a project that I thought was due in a month and thus had barely started on is due the day I get back. And all my stuff for it is at home...greaaat...I have a day and a half to do it. On top finishing my English project. I am so going to kill my science teacher. And who ever thought up the Projects Fair. Idiots. Today is also our last full day in Palm Springs, so there is much cleaning and packing to be done. To top it all off, Geocities is stopping its FTP service for free members in April, which leaves me a month to find a good free host with FTP for three different blogs. Grrr...everyone seems to be against me today. I need some chocolate.

Adventures, adventures...

Hmmm...this is what I get for not updating my blog for a couple days...I've got a lot to say now... Ok, on Monday, my entire family went to Joshua Tree National Park. We went on a tour of this old ranch, which was very cool. There was an old stove like your mother's...we took a picture of it for her. They also had an old washing machine that the ranger said was from the 20s, and my mom said that her mother had one when she was growing up in the 60s...North Carolina is definately a little behind, especially where all my cousins live. The only bad thing was I wore my hair like you and ended up with a nasty sunburn on the back of my neck. Yesterday was spent mostly sleeping and sitting in the car...my dad and I drove for four and a half hours.. Then this morning we went to Seqouia National Park. It was absolutely spectacular. We did a bit of hiking, and sightseeing. Surprisingly, there was probably more snow than you guys have...It was three feet deep in some spots....anyway, we drove back this afternoon, and here I am, blogging away, and listening to my Utena soundtrack. I've discovered that even though Nanami is one of my least favorite charecters (I only dislike Touga more...), she has by far the coolest dueling theme, although Juri's is pretty good too. I wanna hear the Akio car music!!! I'm going to have to download it when I get home. But right now, I have a layout to make, and an English project to work on. Ja ne!

Happy, happy, happy....

Today we went to the Riverside County Fair and Date Festival. I thought it was going to be boring, and was very grumpy at being woken up having had only six hours of sleep. It actually turned out to be very fun. While my brother and dad went and watched the demolition derby, my mom and I explored, and I found a vendor that had nothing but anime stuff! Needless to say, I was overjoyed, and managed to convince my mom to buy me the first Utena OST - its totally awesome, I'm listening to it right now, although the Shadow Girls' (hey, they might make a cool layout!) theme is downright freaky...its called 'Inhabitants of Planet Kashira'. I also have a sneaking suspicion that it might be one of those pirated copies, especially since it only caused me $15, and I know you got yours for $40. Oh, I tried to find a good Miki poster for you, but the only one that had him in it was a movie poster, and a not-so-great one at that. And I don't need a Deadjournal icon, although thanks for the offer. I'm moving this blog to Blogger as soon as I get home. I'll be back March 2nd.

*sweatdrop*

Must not neglect blog. Must not neglect blog. Ok, not much has happened over the last two days. One of my dad's friends came down to visit us with his daughter. She was nice, although I think my brother and I scared her. We went rock climbing, which was fun, but I think I pulled a muscle in my shoulder...owwww... I've discovered that its impossible to find any good pictures of Anthy, so my next layout at Stardust might be Legolas. Hoshi-chan, I'm glad you're feeling less depressed. I really have no preference to a present, although something anime or manga related is better. I gotta go now and work on my English project

*does happy dance*

WHEEEE!!! There's an anime con in the Northeast! And my mom said she'll take me and my friends!! Happy, happy, happy....ok, I'm calm again. We went back into L.A. today, and went to the natural history museum. It was pretty fun - dinosaurs = boring, gems = cool, Vikings = very cool, and insects = disgusting. Then we went down to Santa Monica and did some window shopping (the Suncoast had three shelves of Dragonball Z tapes. That's just wrong) and had some good Italian food. I have to go now because I need to actually get up before noon tomorrow. Oh, Evangelion was awesome. I want to see more. I found out that Ogata Megumi (worship, worship) does the voice of Shinji...must...find...subbed...tapes...

Today I didn't get up

Today I didn't get up until two in the afternoon...I probably would have gotten up later if my annoying brother hadn't woken me up. My mom dragged us rollerblading, which was a little annoying, but it had a good end. We ended up renting two videos - Down to Earth, which was hilarious, and the first Evangelion tape, which I haven't watched yet. We also got a pizza, which we ate entirely during the previews on Down to Earth.

You sound like you could use some cheering up. *hugs Leareth-san* If you ever stumble across this little blog of mine (*snorts* like that's ever going to happen...), I just want you to know I love your fics and I think you're awesome. And I'm glad you like your icon. I had fun making it.

DIE, BLOGGER, DIE!!!!

Grrr....stupid Blogger won't do the layout for this blog right..but this one turned out like it was supposed to...yes, it sucks, but I can't make a better one until I get home. I'll make you a nice Miki icon. And tell her that we went to an ice cream place that bears her name ^_^ I've been reading hilarious Zelda fics by an author who has a slight Skull-Kid obsession. Oh

Hehe...It fits me perfectly. Yoshi is kinda kawaii.

I’m a penguin of the sub-artic type! I may have a funny head, but I’m a great bird! I love climbing rocks, that’s right, I climb rocks, and jump off them into the water! *splash* I’m not really globally threatened, but in some areas I am!

Take the What Penguin am I? Quiz by Krysten!
SCULLY!!! ME GUSTA LOS PENGUINOS!!!! *breaks down into a fit of insane giggles*

Current Mood: bouncy

Current Music: Indiana Jones theme on the tv in the next room

Lalalalaaaaaaaaa....!

Another blah day. My layout for Codename: Insanity is coming a long nicely. I just have to finish of some background work, and a little Bloger code. Speaking of Blogger, I really want to switch this journal there, but I can't get into my Geocities account to upload the images...grrr...stupid laptop... Hikari if you could send me that list of songs, along with the MP3 you wanted, it would be helpful. I can fit about 17-20 songs on a CD. Oh, are you busy the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd? Hikaru and Tama want to throw a Welcome Home sleepover for me (even though it will probably be at my house), and I get the feeling they're going to ask me to invite you. I'd invite you anyway....
I've decided Kafei and Anju make a cute couple. I might attempt a fanart, or write a little ficcy about them. Oh, Hikari, you know Envy.nu deleted all your sites, didn't you? I tried to get on them, and it said it couldn't find the site.

Hot...*drool*

I just watched Raiders of the Lost Ark on ABC, and all I have to say is that Harrison Ford was hot when he was younger, in that kind of rugged, Aragorn-like way (yes, Tama, Aragorn is hot...but not as hot as Elfie ^_^). Unfortunately he now a stupid old geezer. Oh well...there's always Ewan McGregor ^_^. Right now I'm busy hunting up a good Gir pick for the Codename: Insanity layout. Its harder than you think....

Some Majora's Mask Notes....

Kaepora Gaebora is actually pretty cool, although a little irritating. Kafei looks like James from Pokemon. Tingle is a total fruitcake. Really. Romani is a little nuts. And seeing cows get abducted by aliens is hilarious. Ok, you can tell I spent all morning watching my brother play Majora's Mask. I'm bored. I have to go call Tama now.

She lives!!!

Yes, I'm still alive, just a bit preoccupied. I need to remember to post though...*sweatdrop* It's been a week now..Just a warning, this post could get rather long. Lemme see...better start with Sunday. My mom, brother, and I went to see the 'Sing-a-Long Sound of Music'. All the lyrics are printed at the bottom of the screen so everyone can sing a long, and shouting out comments is encouraged. It was great fun. For most of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I was dragged off to Nevada. Las Vegas was very cool and neon, but Death Valley is only interesting if you like rocks. And I don't like rocks. However, my dad did promise that he'll take me to King's Canyon National Park next week, so I'm happy about that. Thursday I mainly slept. Yesterday, I went and saw Lord of the Rings for the third time. It was just as good as it was the first two times. Elfie is as hot as ever. Today we went into L.A. which was fun but hard on my poor feet. We walked around Hollywood some, saw part of a commercial being filmed, and generally explored. I also finally managed to get my hands on X/1999 volume one, and I love it. Its dark, but its cool. I think so far I like Fuma the best, althought Kotori was pretty cool. Kamui was just....creepy. And kind of annoying. Then we did some window shopping, and went and saw an anime movie called Metropolis. It was excellent (rather Issac Asimov-ish), although I've been spoiled by CLAMP and Yu Watase graphics. The character designs were a bit cartoonish in my opinion, although I thought the backgrounds were rather spectacular.

Hikari, I miss you too. Oh, Scully, I saw at least three sex shops in L.A. No, I did not go into any of them. Just thought you'd like to know ~_^ Hika~aru! *pokes Hikaru* update your blog!

Now, where was I?

Ok, I sorta got cut off yesterday. I wanted to go watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. They were wonderfuly done, by the way. When they brought out the giant puppets, there was much squeling from me, as one of them was a white rabbit. Anyway, my dad and I had a lot of fun. We browesed Borders for a while, and didn't get anything. They still didn't have X 1 in ;_; today is not so fun however. Hika~aruuuu....you picked the worst time to go to a BYKOTA sleepover. I need someone to talk to. And Tama, your line's busy!!! I am forced to talk to Scully. I'm bored out of my mind. I'll just go and annoy my brother now....

Must remember to update....*sweatdrop*

I keep forgeting to update this thing. I need to move it to Geocities, but my laptop won't let me log in to set up the images. Today my mom and brother went to Quartzite (a flea market the size of a town) and my dad stayed home and went and saw A Beautiful Mind. It was good. I really have to go now to watch the Olympics....ja ne!

Life is boring but good....

Last night we went and saw Count of Monte Cristo. It was pretty good. The main guy was pretty hot. Then we went to eat at Baja Fresh, which is this cool Mexican fast food chain, and I was like Yuki. I ate my HUGE quesidilla, all my chips, all my mom's chips, and a whole bunch of candy. I ate the most out of everyone. Next we went to Borders, and I struck gold. They had two shelves of manga!!! Including X/1999!!!!! *does happy dance* Now I just need money.... Today I did basicly nil, and I'm pretty bored...I think I'm going to go read or something....

The California Experience

Ah, nice warm California....unfortunately, that also means evil slow laptop. I've decided that I'm definately moving back to Geocities. as soon as I get the time. I'm not liking Deadjournal. Its starting to be annoiying to update, and tis really annoying to design for. Blogger is very cool. Anyway, I'm teaching my mom to rollerblade, and she's already fallen down four times. At least she hasn't killed herself yet, unlike some people I could mention....*coughwintercough*. This wonderful vacation means I have lots of time to work on all the little projects I've been thinking about for a while, namely fanfics and site. Oh, I had a wonderful dream last night...in the first half, we were at my mom's family reunion, like we are every year, but I think Tama and Hikaru were with me. And there were people serving us. Usually its just buffet style. And lo and behold, the only two of the servers who I remember were Touya and Yuki. This brings my total of Yuki dreams up to four. And Yuki talked to me in that wonderful melodious voice of his! *happy sigh* It was wonderful. The seond half was sort of a mix of LotR and Harry Potter. It was mainly about Sirius Black. This brings my total of Sirius dreams to three, and my number of Lupin dreams to zero still...I wonder if my mind is trying to tell me something....Anyway, it was very odd. Well, I gotta go now! I have some anime to watch.

Pocky wa dai suki desu.

Pocky good. Pocky our friend. I <3 Pocky. If you didn't guess already, my Japanese teacher Atsuko brought pocky for us. Strawberry is definitely the best flavor. They really need to sell that stuff in the US. The company would make a fortune. In other news, I have to pack for California. I'm trying to figure out how to get PSP onto my ancient laptop, given it even has enough memory to support it. I also might move this blog back to Geocities, as I finally figured out how to work Blogger. Yay! Go me! I must go, install CD burner now....
